ποΈπΊπΈ Today, Scranton High School proudly hosted a Veterans Day assembly to honor and celebrate the brave men and women who have served our country. We were privileged to have veterans from our community join us for this special event.
A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Gabe Harderson, our Marine Corps veteran and SHS history teacher, for delivering a powerful message honoring our veterans and their sacrifices. Your words truly resonated with all in attendance.
Thank you to Mr. John Blamey for recognizing each veteran and their incredible service.
A special shoutout to Mrs. Mulkey, Mrs. Blaschke, and Student Council members for organizing the assembly and providing a delicious meal that made the day even more memorable.

The Junior High Rockets will be playing in a tournament in Dover starting this Saturday. See brackets here. The girls bracket is the first one, with our girls playing at noon. Boys bracket is the second one, with the boys playing at 1pm.

π¬π SHS students had the exciting opportunity to attend Science Day at the University of the Ozarks on Thursday, Nov 7th! Students participated in hands-on sessions and informative presentations, diving into the natural science and math programs that U of O offers. Our students left with a deeper understanding of potential career paths and the endless possibilities within the fields of science and mathematics. ππ’ A big thank you to the U of O for hosting such an engaging event and to our students for representing SHS with enthusiasm and curiosity! ππ¬

Basketball games tonight at Valley Christian in Russellville have been canceled. Buses are running about 5-10 minutes behind after getting a late start leaving. TORNADO SHELTER WILL BE OPEN TONIGHT!
